Steve Ditko was a brilliant artist whose work shaped popular culture. He
was exploited by The Bosses & spoke out about it. I only wish he’d
realized the solution was organizing, not isolation & Objectivism.

This is Ditko’s apartment ceiling still leaking because his slumlord
landlord sent his idiot brother as a repairman instead of a professional! Ditko is turning around pages & pages on
deadline but its never enough because rent is due and he needs to pay for a root canal and he doesn’t have health insurance. And oh
fuck now the goddamn leak from the ceiling got water all over one of his pages! This is what that feels like.
