Something I’m curious about. You and others have written extensively about the War of the Five Kings, start to finish. I have gotten the impression that the Lannisters are not an invincible juggernaut destined to win and strike down all their foes, but really standing on very shaky footing, who needed a considerable amount of good luck and the aid of a great many other people. The treacherous Freys, the Tyrells, even some Northmen. Even then, it was a close thing. Is this a fair assessment?
