Could a man of the Night’s watch be knighted (presuming a knightly black brother is around to perform the ceremony) for an act of bravery during his service, or does that run counter to ‘win no glory’?

Given that all the knights in the Watch we meet were knights before they joined the Watch, I’m guessing it would violate the oath.
