American fiction writers seem to really like alliterative names: Jessica Jones, Kamala Khan, Peter Parker, etc. more than anyone I’ve encountered (and I’m not a native English speaker). Do you think it’s a comic book thing or an American thing or a language quirk making alliteration seem attractive?
