I think the line about rhyming Dondarrion with carry on might actually be foreshadowing/a stealth pun. Carrion means decaying flesh, does rhyme with Dondarrion, and (making allowances for regional accent differences) sounds almost exactly like carry on.

Sure, and that Dondarrion is “carrying on” by fighting stubbornly, even past death. 

But it’s still a bad rhyme.
