Why is everyone pronouncing ´Daenerys’ the other way around? – i.e. with the stress on the short, single ‘e’ rather that the obvious latinising diphtongue ‘ae’ of the first syllabe?

Dunno. Why is it Daenerys and not Daenaerys?
