A Tamora Pierce Fan group I’m a part of recently had a debate about Terry Goodkind. I’m not impressed with him remotely–not just because I’m unimpressed by his ego and his attempts to incorporate Randian philosophy into fantasy writing, but also because his books remind me of Rand’s Anthem, which is the singular most boring book I’ve ever read. But I’m rather curious about what your opinion of his writing and worldbuilding is.
