Since you brought it up in your most recent essay, I was wondering as to what your thoughts were concerning V for Vendetta (either the comic or the movie).

I’m a fan of the comic, although it’s got some problematic elements. The movie has some good performances (Weaving, Portman, Hurt, Fry, Graves, etc.) but I don’t think the Wachowskis quite got what Alan Moore was saying about anarchism.
