Do we know for a fact Dany isn’t going to Asshai? I mean, has GRRM confirmed that he changed that plan? Because I personally believe a large part of why TWOW is taking so long is that he’s trying to still fit that in and failing, and is probably torn between extending the series to 8 books and giving up on his Asshai plan.
