Oh, definitely he’s taking him to Winterfell, but I doubt he’d call Jon his bastard child. So there’s a difference right there.
Had Lyanna not asked him for his promise to raise Jon as his own, how would Ned’s treatment of him have been different? I have no doubt that he would have seen to it that his sister’s son was provided for, but would he still have taken him to Winterfell, for sentimental reasons?
