So it’s clear the show is terrified of killing off major cast members now that we are completely off book. They had a shot when Tormund looked terrified in ep 6 as he was being dragged into the water. They missed another HUGE opportunity when Cersei says she would order the Mountain to kill Jaime. We are led to believe she won’t because she didn’t with Tyrion which is exactly why she should’ve. This finale needed a gut punch. That should’ve been it. Thoughts?
