No. There’s spells built into the bones of the Wall. Those have to be de-activated or bypassed somehow to allow the White Walkers and their wights to cross.
Do you think if there was literally no one at the Wall, the Others/wights could get past it? The wights in the cells under the Wall cant come to life, could they go over?
