How much of Robb Stark’s demise was actually his fault? How much was the fault of those beneath him basically committing treason (Catelyn freeing Jaime Lannister, Lord Karstark killing the Lannister boys, Theon seizing Winterfell, etc.)? Obviously breaking his betrothal to the Frey girl for Jeyne – or Talisa, in showverse – was a major fuck-up, but I don’t feel that it’s entirely accurate when people say that he had no one to blame but himself for the Red Wedding.
