Don’t think I’d agree with that description: GRRM might spell Mark “Marq,” shorten Matthew to “Matt,” but there’s plenty of Lukes, and some very important Jo(h)ns!
Is there some sort of connection to the names GRRM uses? Most of them appear to be of Germanic or celtic origin but very few of them are judeo-christian. Do you think this was done intentionally?
