Previous Post Were there any real world counterparts for the Lhazarene, a pacifist shepherding people constantly preyed on by steppe raiders? why hasn’t the Lhazarene discarded pacifism & taken up arms to defend themselves from the Dothraki? Or failing that, why haven’t they attempted a mass migration ? And failing that as well, how have they managed to survive till date, given the Dothraki seem to treat them as a living-breathing buffet of slaves & archery targets ?
