You argued that the Manderlys were richer than the Starks, but given that the Starks are likely to get a lot of taxes in kind, while the Manderlys get most of their’s in specie, isn’t it possible that FUNCTIONALLY White Harbor is actually richer simply because their wealth is liquid and thus more easily used to apply power and influence?
