I highly doubt it. Daemon had the sword, he had the Targaryen mother so his claim was double bolted, and he had the charisma that made him so attractive.
Could the Blackfyre Rebellions have broke out even without Daemon? Like Daemon is born a girl, or dies young, or decides fighting in Essos is more fun- would people rally around Bittersteel instead?
