And as far as your criticism of him being warlike- wasn’t the conquest of the Stepstones a good idea since the Three Daughters were using it to harm Westerosi trade? If you assume Daemon wants a war than the obvious target is Dorne, except this time Daemon would have a whole host of dragons.
