Maester Steven, do you think there is a connection between the Children and the Others? Adam Whitehead (aka Werthead) proposed that the Others may be a product of Children magic during their wars against the First Men. Whether that is true or not, there’s also an interesting bit from the show, where White Walkers, to my eyes at least, have faces with a barklike quality. Could it imply some kind of connection with weirwoods and Children?
