Whilst I’ve been reading your CBC analyses of the Battle of Blackwater it got me thinking: what role (if any) do you think Varys had in mind for Tyrion post (f)Aegon’s conquest had Tyrion not been injured in the battle? I tend to think that hd Tyrion been able to defend his record during the battle, he wouldn’t have been as vulnerable to the purple wedding and hence would have stood by his family when Aegon came.
