It’s commonly held that Bloodraven remaining Hand during Maekar’s reign is a retcon, and I feel the same way, yet I cannot locate anything within ASOIAF that points to Maekar imprisoning BR. Was this from a supplementary piece of material (and if so, what?) or am I missing something?
