Next Post Hi! I can’t find fandom discussion of this. Do you think there’s any reason for Yoren protecting Arya from seeing her father’s execution, and taking her north to Winterfell etc? Sparing her the view is obvious, and his “friendship” with Ned seems perfectly sensible/satisfactory, but I was wondering if there’s more to it. Could Varys have suggested getting Arya out and why? And couldn’t it have been seen as taking a side in the realm’s affairs? Am I just overthinking it? Thanks in advance!
