Previous Post Let’s say all those Stark-loyal riverlords and the BWB manage to overthrow the Freys and Lannisters in their lands. How long can they maintain their rebellion (winter and dragons notwithstanding)? Any chance of a Jan-Zizka-style general or a Dornish-style insurgency lasting longer than a few months? Or are the Riverlands just too hard to hold?

Next Post Follow-up: Who’s the single best general the Lannisters/Tyrells currently have for putting down a rebellion in the Riverlands? For defeating the ironborn? For beating the Golden Company? I’m trying to get a sense for just how fucked the Iron Throne is come TWOW, because if the answer for all three is Randyll Tarly, well, he can’t be in three places at once (four if you count babysitting Margaery…)
