When Robert ascended to the throne why weren’t Stannis & Renly awarded the title of prince? After all, if Baratheon is the Royal House, all 3 of the brothers have royal blood.

I think Martin discussed this in a SoSpakeMartin and basically said that Robert could have, but didn’t think about it, in the same way that he didn’t really think about giving away Dragonstone and Storm’s End, etc etc.
