In ADWD, the notion is put forth by some that they could widen the Castle Black gate for the mammoths and such, and Jon and a few others say that that would be a bad idea. I’e thought about it and the only reason I can come up with is that they would need to craft a whole new gate for new measurements. What other reasons do you think there are?
