Your N+A gives me hope! (I’m a masochists who, though knowing R+L=J is practically canon, was rooting for N+A=J b/c I love the idea of a N+A romance.) It brings up some interesting what-ifs if Ned and Ashara were married before the Rebellion, especially since the alliance w/ the Tullys was so critical. I don’t think Hoster would go for a Benjen/Catelyn match. Would Catelyn marry Jon Arryn? Or, b/c Robert chasing Lyanna & the later need for a Lannister alliance, would Hoster marry her to STANNIS?
