Was rhaegar ever abused by aerys? Because i feel like this was not addressed and it is very clare from most descriptions of rhaegar’s personality (barring rob b’s) he is psychologically messed up (in some way)

Hard to say. I don’t think Aerys ever laid a hand on Rhaegar himself, but Rhaegar definitely would have seen his father horribly mutilating and killing people. The question is when that started – Rhaegar was 18 at Duskendale, so did it happen earlier?
