Tarly is a bastard and half, true. I do think he’s going to defect from the Tyrells in favor of Aegon and then Aegon’s going to fall, but I’m not sure what the final political situation is going to be.
Thinking about how much I hate Randyll Tarly. What would be a more appropriate fate for him: a) defects from the Tyrells to Aegon and sweeps him to victory only to be roasted by Dany’s dragons or b) assassinated by one of the Sand Snakes headed to Kings Landing. If you think about it, now that Kevan is dead, Tarly would be the ideal person to take out if you wanted to further destabilize the Tyrell/Lannister power bloc.
