re: double-entry bookkeeping. If that system still hasn’t been instituted in Westeros, it’s amazing that Tyrion noticed something was off with the crown’s ledgers. If I remember right, he can’t exactly pinpoint precisely what it was, but that he could determine there were issues from disparate lists of inventories and sums alone speaks to his intelligence. (God damn it, Tywin/Cersei. Tyrion could’ve built a Lannister Bank that would but the Medicis to shame. An even more golden Westerlands!)

I’m not entirely sure what the level of sophistication in accounts in Westeros are. But yes, a Lannister Bank would have been impressive.
