They aren’t exclusive. OTHO, House Hightower was always lukewarm on the Blackfyres. And Margaery Tyrell is Alerie Hightower’s daughter, so they don’t have a strong motive to bolt. Maybe if Tommen dies, they might flip, but they’re not high on my list of suspects.
I just noticed the Ask Me’s you’ve been getting about Randall Tarly being a secret Targaryen supporter. But wouldn’t the Hightowers be better candidates? I suppose one doesn’t exclude the other, but the Hightowers did marry into the Targaryen line, and if you believe the Septa Lemore = Melora Hightower theory, then it makes a lot of sense.(PS Keep up the awesome work.)
