This may come up in your Blackfyre essays (which I’m stoked about) but do you think its weird that we know so little about the war itself at this point. The only named/discussed battle is Redgrass Field. I was expecting a detailed overview of the war in the Daeron II section of the World Book, similar to the Dance in the Aegon II section, but there was barely any new info. Doesn’t seem likely that he’d be saving it for a future D&E story. Any thoughts?

“The Blacks and the Reds, Part II” will examine the First Blackfyre Rebellion in detail from the outbreak to the aftermath of Redgrass Field.

I have a detailed theory about the arc of the war, along with a bunch of battles that are discussed here and there. Sworn Sword and Mystery Knight have quite a bit of info if you know where to look.
