Yeah. You’d think at some point they’d notice that the Lannisters keep getting blamed for murders that benefit them but they know they didn’t commit, and wonder whether someone was setting them up. But Cersei’s lazy and not very good at it, and Tyrion didn’t have the time to go after LF.
Apropos of ACOK Tyrion IV and the Pycelle-Lannister Conspiracy, something that has always bugged me about how decentralized the Lannisters are. Cersei knows that she’s suspected for poisoning Jon Arryn which she did not do, Tyrion knows that Pycelle did not poison Jon Arryn. They also know that the Starks and Lysa Arryn suspect them for this crime. So why did they never bother investigating who killed Jon Arryn?
